About the Role
We’re looking for a Professional and Technical Review Advisor to provide the delivery of a high level of customer service to members and potential members applying for the chartered and technical membership.
Key Responsibilities will include:
- Co-ordinating an end-to-end professional review process, ensuring that an excellent level of customer service, support and guidance is always provided to our members, assessors and verifiers.
- Acting as a key point of contact for professional and technical review queries, you will provide support and advice where necessary on the criteria for professional review and individual members’ readiness to commence the process.
- Liaising with regional and international colleagues to ensure consistent advice is provided, you will follow up enquiries and expressions of interest to encourage professional review applications and attend events and workshops to promote CIOB membership.
- Acting as a designated point of contact for assigned applicants; overseeing their application from beginning to end and ensuring a consistent, high-quality experience is delivered throughout.
- Reviewing applications against set criteria and advise potential members of any necessary changes to be made to their submission.
About You
The ideal candidate will have the following skills and experience:
- Be confident, well-mannered and can deal with members and potential members at varying levels of seniority in person, in writing and over the phone.
- Be an organised individual who can work to targets and deadlines in what can sometimes be a pressurised environment.
- Have excellent written and verbal communication skills, attention to detail and the ability to analyse written reports and applications.
- Have strong administration and IT skills, and some experience of working with a CRM.
- Previous experience of working in a membership environment would be of distinct advantage, however this is not essential.
