Career Resume

I am a project manager by education and have 28 years of international experience gained across Continental Europe, UK and Oceania with tier-1 consultancies and contractors.  I have worked in various sectors and the full asset lifecycle from development to demolition. 
Initially, I was site based constructing and maintaining commercial, retail, pharmaceutical, industrial and transport assets.  I then specialised in setting up PMOs for with responsibility for programme management, project controls, governance and assurance.  Over the last 10years, I have held executive positions including:
• CEO of an engineering consultancy, 
• Country manager and global life-sciences lead for a PM consultancy. 

 

Personal statement

Becoming a CIOB Trustee would be a privilege and an opportunity to contribute to the organisation’s objectives, raise standards and influence key decisions shaping the construction industry.  It brings ultimate responsibility representing members, directing the affairs of the Institute, and delivering the Royal Charter objectives.  

I am enthusiastic about growing our Institute presence to make us a truly global organisation serving our current and future members.  As an industry there is a call to action to improve the environment, H&S, EDI. We also need to embrace change and emerging technologies. 

I have been affiliated with the CIOB for over 30 years and contributed in various ways:

• Membership application mentorship
• MMC webinar series
• Supporting university accreditation
• EDI Ambassador
• Collaboration with other industry bodies
