Response to BEIS Green Paper on Building our Industrial Strategy

Summary

The Department for Business, Energy & Industrial Strategy (BEIS) is seeking views on the Government’s approach to building a modern industrial strategy. The consultation document sets out ten pillars for achieving this and we will seek to provide a response that delves into construction’s role in driving each of these.

The CIOB response welcomes the introduction of an industrial strategy, highlights the need for focus on the construction sector and evidences how it can be used more effectively as an enabler of wider-growth.
