Response to APPG on Sport, Modern Slavery and Human Rights

Summary

The CIOB have responded to the All Party Parliamentary Group (APPG) on sport, modern slavery and human rights. Our response highlights a number of the weaknesses in construction supply chains which leave room for labour abuse. The response also suggests a number of solutions, at governmental, contractor and client level to improve labour standards in construction on mega-sporting events.
