CIOB Academic Summit
On 10 September 2024, the CIOB will host the annual international Academic Summit. Taking place virtually, the conference brings together academics, policymakers, and practitioners in education.
The CIOB Academic Summit, taking place on 10 September 2024, is a unique conference dedicated to our global academic community. This accessible virtual conference will lead the way to transform our academics’ connect-ability on a global scale, leading the way for cross collaborations, sharing of cutting-edge research, knowledge, and education and most importantly building of a strong sense of community.
Let’s be frank, we cannot make this event fantastic without your input and so to produce this virtual conference, we are seeking input from you, our community of practice.
Call for Papers
The conference is bringing together academics, policy makers and practitioners from education settings. The conference will be a unique opportunity to share experience and ideas. We are inviting proposals for contributions on various important topics.
Your submission should cover one of the following topics:
- Equality, Diversity, and Inclusion
- Ethics
- Quality & Safety
- Future of Construction
- Skills Gap
- Environmental Sustainability
- Health and Wellbeing
Proposals for contributions can address more than one of these topics, as we recognise that many opportunities and challenges lie at the intersections between them.
If accepted, a number of selected contributions will be given through short live presentations virtually during the conference. This will include panel(s) and individual presentations during the conference, culminating in 3-5 sessions.
