Mohamed Elsayed

Mohamed is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Building, a certified Project Management Professional, a certified Risk Management Professional and a Member of the Institute of Directors, New Zealand.

He has been a Chartered Member of the CIOB for many years and is currently Tomorrow’s Leader Representative and Vice Chair for Auckland (becoming Chair in June 2024). He continuously lobbies for CIOB with other professional entities in New Zealand.

Mohamed has more than 20 years of international experience in construction, and infrastructure,  working across public and private sectors in different countries, covering a wide spectrum of markets in the Middle East and Oceania region and leading complex and large-scale projects in housing & infrastructure.

He is also Chair of multiple Boards with various education and sports organisations, has supported research projects within the university and is an ambassador for Women in Construction in New Zealand.

Mohamed has a particular interest in modern methods of construction and the use of digital technologies in the construction industry.
