Jennifer Makkreel

Jennifer has a degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Ottawa, Canada and has been a Chartered member of the CIOB since 2008. She is a member of the recently formed CIOB Client Steering Group and a CIOB Client Champion.
Jennifer leads the team of Programme and Project Managers to deliver the University’s £2billion capital project portfolio (circa £120m/year). She was Project Director for the University’s Schwarzman Centre for the Humanities Project – a 24,000sqm facility which includes a 500-seat concert hall, a black box experimental performance venue, seven academic faculties, seven libraries and two research institutes – funded by a £175m gift from Stephen Schwarzman. She was Programme Manager for the Global Leadership Centre – the £45m redevelopment of the Osney Power Station to create an executive education centre with 121 bedrooms, four classrooms, library, dining, bar and gym.
Her previous roles include Head of Project Management Office for Oxfordshire County Council; Project Manager with the Legislative Assembly of Ontario and Project Manager with PCL Constructors Canada Inc.
