The CIOB has made a commitment to explore and seek out new methods to cut down on waste and innovate new sustainable services that can help improve our member's benefits. We have an ongoing strategy to consider digital options first.
 

Launching new Digital Membership Cards

We have thousands of members who receive a new Membership Card each year, and until now, each has received a print Membership Card in the post. Our new initiative will offer members Digital Membership Cards instead of printed cards, cutting down on waste and improving our members' experience. We will start by offering them to our Chartered Members, Chartered Fellows and Technical Members.

Digital Membership Cards are beneficial for members for various reasons, including convenience. Since people are already carrying their smartphones everywhere, our members will now have their Membership Cards stored on and accessible from their smartphones.
 

When can you use your Digital Membership Card?

Your membership number, which is contained on your digital membership card, is used to:

• Gain free access to our high-value CPD events
• Pay your membership subscriptions
• On any assessment/ certification applications
• As proof of your membership grade
