Parrott Construction is a medium sized construction company, founded in 1968. From our early beginnings in Oakley, Bedfordshire, we have grown into a dynamic and diverse construction company, delivering innovative and sustainable projects across the housing, health, education, community, commercial & industrial sectors. We carry out construction projects in the value range of approximately £250,000 to £5M, with the majority of our work being carried out within a 60-mile radius of our Head Office in Kempston, Bedfordshire.

We have completed many design and build projects, varying from residential developments and refurbishments to complete redevelopments of brownfield sites, utilising a range of materials and designs including traditional style homes, contemporary homes, conversions and modern, passivhaus, sustainable new build homes, blocks of flats, sheltered housing and special needs accommodation.  For commercial projects, our experience in office, industrial and retail new builds means we can recommend the construction route that will best meet your objectives.

Around 80% of our turnover comes from new construction and refurbishment in the social housing sector. Parrott Construction work in partnership with Housing Associations to successfully design, build and deliver multi-tenure developments including affordable housing, private sale housing and specialist tenure properties.  This sector knowledge and expertise sets us apart from our competitors. We can begin a project at the ‘conceptual’ stage and manage development right up until handover and beyond for the housing association.
