Agar Grove, Camden:
Hill has worked with Camden Council to deliver the first two phases of the six-phase estate regeneration at Agar Grove to provide 152 contemporary, sustainable apartments. The development is the largest project in the London Borough of Camden’s Community Investment Programme.
To achieve the highest levels of sustainability and energy efficiency within the buildings, the Passivhaus ‘gold standard’ was selected. Passivhaus is a standard which requires high levels of insulation and triple-glazed windows wrapped in an air-tight shell, reducing residents outgoings and minimising fuel poverty.
The Agar Grove estate regeneration was the recipient of two awards at the London Planning Awards, including winner of The Mayor’s Award for Good Growth, and The Mayor’s Award for Sustainable and Environmental Planning.
