We provide a service for new build and renovation projects from primary care to major acute hospital throughout Great Britain and Ireland and due to the success of our schemes and the service that we provide more than 75% of our healthcare work has come from repeat business. Our Civil Engineering division focuses primarily on the Energy, Water and Wastewater, Transportation, Waste, Industrial, Marine and Regeneration sectors. An enduring contractor of choice for our customers, Farrans continues to deliver engineering excellence by maximising value and minimising risk at what we do. Our Civil Engineering Division continues to grow its expertise and portfolio throughout the United Kingdom and Ireland. Our ability to support customers with our experience, cooperation and financial security establishes us further. As a Principal Contractor we have been involved in projects such as London Luton Airport, Arecloch Windfarm (pictured), Scotland's M80, Glasgow Harbour Off-site Highways, Belfast Sewers Project and Project Alpha; illustrating our expertise and breadth of experience in delivering high value projects.

Irrespective of the form of procurement we work closely with our clients to identify their needs and provide a consistent team leadership in our service, delivering bespoke solutions regardless of a project’s size or complexity. We bring our expertise to a broad range of sectors, including education, commercial, office, leisure, industrial, retail, hospitality, residential, mixed-use and regeneration. Over the past three years we have realised substantial growth within our education service with over 75% of our turnover in 2010 being in this sector. We provide our clients with dedicated teams who, using our award winning health and safety, social, environmental and economic sustainability credentials, deliver complex and innovative projects in a variety of sectors and wide range of procurement routes.
