Summary
Building Futures Together: Discover, Collaborate and Connect! We are excited to announce the launch of the Intergenerational Knowledge Bridges Programme—a pioneering initiative from CIOB that connects younger members with retired or retiring professionals with this inaugural event. This project aims to facilitate the transfer of knowledge, experience and skills built over decades within the construction industry, ensuring they are not lost to future generations.
Student members, early-career professionals, and those new to the industry are warmly invited to attend this FREE event with refreshments. You’ll have the opportunity to learn from experienced construction professionals, build valuable connections and gain insights that will support your growth in what can often be a complex and challenging industry. This informal, relaxed gathering offers a chance to ask questions and receive real-world advice to help you navigate your future construction career with confidence.
If you are a retired or retiring CIOB Member/Fellow, this is your opportunity to give back to the industry by sharing your wealth of experience, practical knowledge and industry-critical skills with those at the start of their journey. Your contributions can really make a difference in shaping the future of the construction sector.
The programme offers opportunities for group or one-on-one connections, where participants can receive ongoing support, advice, and mentorship, as well as share and explore ideas together.
The event is hosted by the Exeter Hub Committee and Tomorrow’s Leaders Representatives, who will be present to welcome you and facilitate introductions.
Join us to share perspectives, build bridges and contribute to this mutually enriching experience.
