Speakers
Mark Tree
Mark started his career as a Quantity Surveyor and Chartered Builder, working as a Senior Estimator and Surveyor.
He has taught in both further and higher education and is now Acting Head of School, although he currently maintains his teaching responsibility in specialist Quantity Surveying areas.
David started his Construction career at City College in the 80’s prior to University and gain chartered status. In the past 30 years he has worked client side in the health sector and for both national (Kier) and local contractors (MJS Projects). In 2013 David was one of the founders of principle contracting business MJS Projects and he continues in his role as Director overseeing all business activities. David is a trustee of Construction East the industry led charity focussed on developing the construction professionals of the future.
Liv Bradley, Head of Construction at City College Norwich, is passionate about vocational education and social mobility. She manages a diverse curriculum provision for over 700 students one of the largest college construction departments in the country. She has developed new ways of working with employers and overseen the continued growth of the department (which now trains over 60 % of the young people in Norfolk on Construction programmes.)
Liv started her career as a Site Carpenter before moving into teaching Construction in FE. She is a former course leader for the T Level Construction: Design, Surveying and Planning course and had been instrumental in rolling out T-Level provision at City College Norwich. The college is now a Sector Delivery Partner for T-Levels in Construction. She also worked as Development Consultant for the City & Guilds T Level BSE and T Level On-Site Construction suite of qualifications.
